Introductory Lectures held at Penrith Methodist Centre Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017
This series of lectures on psychoanalysis, each followed by a discussion in small groups, provides an overall view of the core concepts in psychoanalysis and their main applications.
This course is suitable for people with an interest in the subject, new in the field, as well as those with experience.

These lectures will take place on Saturdays 22 October, 12 November, 10 December during the Autumn 2016 term - 10.00 - 2.30pm.
22 October - Freud, the Man and the Clinician - Ken Robinson and Models of the Mind - Gearoid Fitzgerald.
12 November - The Psychoanalytic Setting - Susanna Bailey and Transference and Countertransference - Anthea Gomez.
10 December - Mourning and Melancholia - DVD and Narcissism - Graham Ingham.
During the Spring 2017 term these lectures will take place on Saturdays on 14 January, 11 February, 11 March - 10.00 2.30pm.
14 January - Introduction to Melanie Klein - Cyril Couve and Consultation - Penelope Crick.
11 February - Early Development - Sheena Pollet and Adolescence - Hannah Solemani.
11 March - Psychosis - Brian Martindale and Psychoanalysis and the Arts - Susie Godsil.
The remaining lectures for the Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017 term will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 - 8.30pm.
Venue for ALL lectures will be Penrith Methodist Centre, Wordsworth Street, Penrith CA11 7QY.
