In this series, we continue to explore through conversation psychoanalytic aspects of Shakespeare’s plays. We will show the film, give some context, and then open the gathering for a psychoanalytically-focused discussion of the play and this film. Prior to the film date, we will send out a list of other films of the same play that we have found interesting as alternate interpretations from different film eras, and we will send out a psychoanalytically-oriented reading list about Shakespeare and his plays.
