The Psychoid and the Real
Is there any commonality between Jung’s idea of the Psychoid and Lacan’s conceptualisation of the Real? And what are the specifics of the differences between these two important clinical concepts? David Henderson, PhD is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice and senior lecturer in psychoanalysis at the Centre for Psychoanalysis, Middlesex University.
