Game of Thrones: A Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies perspective - 16 Mar 2016, Colchester, England

A brief look into what makes our discipline ‘tick’ and the complementary perspectives offered by different schools of thought. How would an interpretation of G.R.R. Martin’s A Game of Thrones, look from a Freudian perspective? Would a Jungian agree? What would the Organisational Dynamics professional say, along with the Refugee Care expert and the Psychodynamic Counsellor?

You are invited to attend our Postgraduate Taught Open Day, which will provide an informative and accessible introduction to the various MA programmes offered by the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies.

MA Psychoanalytic Studies
MA Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies
MA Refugee Care
MA Management and Organisational Dynamics
MA Psychodynamic Counselling.

You will gain a better grasp of the common ground we share, the debates we engage in, and why our discipline has maintained its relevance in a rapidly changing world. No matter which MA you are interested in, you will find CPS an open and friendly place to pursue your Postgraduate Studies. There will be time for questions and an opportunity to meet the various programme leads over some light snacks and refreshments.

This event is open to all those who are interested in pursuing an MA programme with CPS, as well as those who have already applied or are in the process of applying. We look forward to seeing you there.
